About

Daniel Rothwell

Daniel Rothwell was first introduced to gymnastics when he was eight where he attended recreational classes at a local gym. Thanks to a mixture of the recreational classes and the everything about the 2012 Olympics (and Gabby Douglas), his love and passion for the sport took another level. Daniel’s gymnastics career peaked when he competed as a level 10 gymnast for a year before leaving for college and joining the club gymnastics team at the University of Virginia. He founded the 15.366 in fall 2019 to provide a medium for hardcore gymnastics fans to connect with and appreciate gymnasts regardless of nationality.

Daniel is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia studying Chinese and Commerce. Besides re-watching the event finals from the 1996 Olympics, Daniel likes to pass the time by hanging out with friends, critiquing bubble tea in the DMV area on Yelp, and breakdancing.
